Create a feeding station

10 Want to capture great shots of birds in your garden? Create a feeding station and entice subjects to a pre-defined point. A simple set-up will do – for example, a pole in the ground with a couple of feeders attached. Position attractive perches nearby – sprigs of spring blossom, for instance – where birds can temporarily rest. Pre-focus on the perch and, when subjects land, shoot a continuous burst.
