Layering lights
Once you’ve got the hang of using two attachments you can really begin to experiment. Our longest exposure lasted 157 secs (see bottom right) and included four attachments: red and blue Light Pens, a purple Crystal Light Pen and a pink Light Writer. The latter pair particularly well with the geometric patterns created by the Light Pens, because they add a colourful cloud that makes the whole image look a little like a nebula.
When it comes to editing, a boost to the exposure and a little dodging will help bring out the duller trails. Just make sure the background remains completely black when pumping up the exposure.
