Divert speed camera revenue
RACING drivers want speed camera revenue diverted to funding driver education. The call from the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport comes as CAMS has released a survey that found more than 87 per cent of its members believe driver education should be compulsory for high school kids. CAMS said the group supported any initiative that reduced the road toll. But the increased use of cameras has not seen a significant decrease in the road toll, it said.
