Kia recall over cable fault

NT News - Motoring - - CARS GUIDE -

KIA is recalling 70,000 Magentis cars – 1415 in Australia – to check for incorrectly installed shift lever cables. Kia says some of the cables were installed upside down on cars built between January 2006 and May 2007 . ‘‘None have been reported in Australia,’’ Kia spokesman Kevin Hepworth says. ‘‘However, we are checking them all, and it’s a quick 45-minute fix if we find any that need it.’’
