Bootcamp fit for Galloway
FOUR-HOUR daily pre-season bootcamps were the secret to Scott Galloway’s stunning revival, as the Adelaide United full-back prepares to face his former side.
Galloway’s career stagnated after leaving Melbourne Victory in 2016, after a solid 65game career.
Galloway quietly returned to Melbourne to conduct a month-long camp with renowned conditioning guru Tim Schleiger.
After a forgettable stint at Central Coast and a season at Wellington Phoenix Galloway described as a “shambles”, he admitted the off-season regime of soccer, strength and sprint work had paid off.
“It was a solid month with Tim, just like a gruelling bootcamp really. It brought me into pre-season in the best shape I’ve been in and it’ll be something I’ll look to do every single pre-season,’’ Galloway said.
