Palmo set for clean-up
PALMERSTON residents are being urged to gather up any cyclone hazards on their properties ahead of collections starting on September 20 in Marlow Lagoon, Driver and Moulden.
Mayor Athina Pascoe-Bell said anyone who needed help should contact the council at least one week before their suburb’s collection date.
“This is a great opportunity to not only make our community safer during the wet season but to tidy up your own property,” she said.
“Please follow instructions provided by council regarding what can and cannot be collected.
“It will allow the important recycling and repurposing process to run smoothly.”
