Caitlyny slams Ellen ‘YOU’VE DESTROYED ME!’

She’s loved by all of Hollywood, but Cait reckons the talk-show fave is one big bully...

Her motto in life is “Be kind to one another”, but Ellen Degeneres needs to start taking some of her own advice, according to Caitlyn Jenner.

Yep, in her upcoming memoir The Secrets Of My Life, the transgender activist blames the talk-show host for making her feel “alienated” from the LGBTQ community. Conservative-voting Caitlyn reckons Ellen deliberately portrayed her as anti-gay when Cait revealed her hesitation about same-sex marriage on air in 2015.

“I believed, as anyone would, that that was exactly what she wanted to talk about – my progression in terms of changing attitude over the years,” Caitlyn, 67, writes in the tell-all book, recalling the moment on the show that she admitted she was a “traditionalist” when it comes to same-sex marriage.

“I am for it,” she clarifies of her current stance. “I did not initially understand why marriage was so important, influenced no doubt by my own personal experience. Now I do and it’s a wonderful thing to see.”

And while the former Olympian is now building bridges with the LGBTQ community, she says she was surprised by the way Ellen, 59, condemned her for her views. And, she adds, Ellen only made matters worse when she told radio shock jock Howard Stern it’s “confusing” that Cait could have “judgment about gay people and marriage”.

“Ellen’s appearance on The Howard Stern Show, where in my mind she even more emphatically took what I said out of context, made it go viral,” Cait writes.

And while Ellen is yet to respond to Cait’s dig, she claims she’s only ever wished the former I Am Cait star well, saying, “I don’t fully understand [all of her views] but I want her to be happy.”

Maybe Cait missed that bit...
