We can go on and on about how Titanic’s leading man Jack should’ve been alive today, had it not been for Rose (aka Kate Winslet) hogging all the space on that damn floating door. Yep, despite saying she’d “never let go”, she did – and he died! And now, a staggering 20 years later, we still haven’t forgiven her.
“I agree. I lie. I fully lie. I hold my hand up, I let him go... [But] he just should’ve tried harder to get on that door. I think he would have [got on],” Kate joked on The late Show with stephen colbert recently.
To prove her point, Stephen and Kate then re-enacted the famous 1997 movie scene, with the talk show host playing the role of Leonardo Dicaprio’s Jack. And whatta you know, they both fit. Case closed!
But we’re just lucky Kate and Leo were ever even a thing, with Kate revealing she did her Titanic audition opposite Matthew Mcconaughey as Jack. Mind blown!
