LIVED-IN LI BLONDE

“At the moment we’re seeing se a lot of requests for natural na blonde looks and, coming c out of summer, there th are still plenty of our clients c wanting lived-in blonde,” bl says Tarryn. “So, think th stretched out roots and an subtle balayage.” Keep your y blonde from going brassy br with a purple wash and be sure to spritz a leave-in conditioner w whenever strands are wet to maintain hydration and shine.

RICH RED

“Coming into the cooler months, redheads will want to really make their colour pop by adding tones of copper or keeping the shade rich and vibrant,” says Tarryn. “As with brunettes, redheads also want lots of dimension and depth. Ask your colourist for freehand highlights, finishing with some extra-shine gloss colour, such as Redken Shades EQ to make your colour pop.” Ensure your colour stays vibrant with a gentle, colour protecting shampoo and conditioner, and restore shine and hydration with styling oil.

DIMENSIONAL BRUNETTE

“Brunettes “are loving warmth this th season, and this will continue ue into i winter,” says Tarryn. “Think k face-framing fa honey and caramel el babylights b and subtle balayage. e. Choose C multidimensional and d multitoned m hues over one block ck colour.” Show off your healthy y h hair by washing with a clarifying ng s shampoo to keep it in good nick, ck, then up the shine factor with h an après shampoo cream.

PASTELS

“When it comes to unique shades, I would say pink is still having a moment. However, pastels in general at this time of year always make their mark,” says Tarryn. “One trend we’re currently seeing is blown out, soft hues like smoky chocolate, amethyst brown and pale orange.” The key to your best-ever colour is to have healthy hair. Use replenishing and moisturising treatments and get regular colour touch-ups to avoid dullness.
