Fresh from a two-month stint in rehab to tackle her substance abuse issues, Heather Locklear’s getting a reality check of a different kind – she’s joining the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills!
After shocking assault charges led to her decision to enter an LA clinic in March, the 56-year-old star has been working hard to get her life back on track. She even spent Mother’s Day with her semiestranged daughter Ava, 20.
And now her professional life’s getting a boost too. In Touch mag reports Housewives producer Andy Cohen has been after Heather to join the franchise “for years”, and “her people think it might be a good way for her to stay accountable and sober”.
In fact, the insider says joining the show could be the “start of a comeback” for the troubled actress, who allegedly punched a police office and almost bit fiancé Chris Heisser’s nose off during her March arrest!
Still, there is some concern it could be a recipe for disaster r for Heather, considering how much drama – and booze oze – comes with the show. w.
Meanwhile, it looks like Heather could be a surprise replacement for Lisa Rinna! Whaaat?!
Amid reports that current urrent Housewives Dorit Kemsley msley and Erika Girardi are threatening to leave due ue to pay disputes, Lisa has seemingly been demoted oted to a “friend”, after the show’s network Bravo referred ed to her as such in a May 13 3 tweet. It follows Lisa, 54, admitting she’s scaling g back on stirring the pot ot as she wants to project ct a better image for her r daughters, Delilah, 19, 9, and Amelia, 16.
“My children are doing oing their modelling and are in this business, I need to show them a strong woman,” n,” she explained.
