Ange’s cruel attack on Jen
As Jen and Brad bond with his brood, Ange lashes out!
For the past eight weeks, Jennifer Aniston has been enjoying the European summer while she’s filmed Murder Mystery, her new Netflix comedy with Adam Sandler, in exotic locations such as Milan and Prague. But the star recently returned to LA – and she wasn’t given a warm welcome home. NW hears that no sooner had Jen touched down in Tinseltown than she received a nasty phone call from her arch rival Angelina Jolie, who warned the Friends actress to keep away from her kids!
With Jen rekindling her relationship with Brad Pitt, it’s been reported the pair have been hanging out with his brood in recent weeks after a judge increased Brad’s visitation rights. And naturally Ange, 43, isn’t happy about the bonding that’s going on.
“Ange heard that Brad and Jen have spent time with the kids, which is the last thing she wants,” an insider tells NW. “She called up Jen and told her to stay the hell away from her family. Ange doesn’t want Jen playing stepmom to her children.”
That wasn’t the extent of Ange’s tongue-lashing, though. According to the insider, the Maleficent star reportedly goaded Jen by telling her Brad “doesn’t really love her” and informed her that Brad’s only with her to get revenge for everything that’s happened in their nasty custody battle. Low blow, babe! Keeping Jen away from her six kids isn’t Ange’s only campaign against the star. She’s also getting nasty over Jen’s
new relationship with Netflix.
Uh-huh, Ange has a development deal with the streaming service, which released her 2017 film First They Killed My Father. But now Jen, 49, is also working with them on Murder Mystery and the upcoming political comedy First Ladies.
“The view among bosses at Netflix is that Jen’s their next big star. She has more clout in Hollywood,” a source tells US OK! mag. “Ange is furious about playing second fiddle. It’s the ultimate slap in the face.”
So much so that our source says Ange told Jen that she’d better stay away from any pre- and post-parties that Netflix were throwing for this week’s Emmy Awards.
“If Jen does go, I reckon Ange will try to corner her and give her a piece of her mind,” says the insider.
Adds a second source, “Ange hates that everyone still roots for golden couple Brad and Jen to be together while she’s forever painted as the villain. Their ongoing relationship is a huge stumbling block for Ange.” ■
