Sandra’s big baby news

The actress is over the moon as she prepares to announce that she and Bryan are expecting!

NW - - People's Choice Awards 2018 -

At first, Sandra Bullock wasn’t sure she wanted to star in her next movie, thriller Bird Box, where she plays a woman called Malorie who has a cold indifference to children. “I don’t relate to someone who doesn’t want to be a mother,” she says. “I don’t relate to someone who isn’t warm and can’t love freely.”

In fact, being a mum is all Sandra has ever wanted, and her dream came true when she adopted Louis and Laila. But since boyfriend Bryan Randall came into their lives, there’s also been the chance that she could experience her own pregnancy one day.

That day, it appears, is now. Yep, friends are buzzing that Sandra is expecting her first child at age 54. OMG!

“Sandra’s dropped hints there could be a miracle baby on the way,” says a source. “She’s backed out of numerous social engagements, including one of her closest friend’s birthday party, because she

wasn’t feeling well. And she’s avoided alcohol at every occasion she has attended. So loved ones are just excitedly waiting for the official announcement.”

Happy surprise

It’s been a difficult few months for Sandra, after her dad John and two of her dogs died just weeks apart from each other. So the possibility of bringing new life into the world after so much loss has made her deeply emotional.

“The moment she found out she was pregnant would no doubt bring Sandra to tears,” the insider says. “At her age, she knows a baby would be a miracle.”

Luckily, she’d have Bryan to share that miracle with. The model-turned-photographer has been there for Sandra since 2015, when he was hired to take pictures of Louis, eight, and sparks unexpectedly flew. “He’s the man she’s always dreamed of – honest and loyal,” says the insider. “She loves Bryan and her kids already love him like a dad.”

Bryan, 52, also has a grown daughter from a previous relationship. And though Sandra’s rep denies that she’s pregnant, the pair have been eager to add to their brood.

“Sandra’s made no secret of telling people how both she and Bryan have been hoping to get pregnant with a miracle baby,” reveals the insider. “She even had a bottle of prenatal supplements in her purse, which some friends saw. She lives a very clean lifestyle in general and has the best doctors in town, which is likely to increase her chances

of conceiving, too.”

Perfect family

Don’t expect a shotgun wedding anytime soon, though. “Sandra loves Bryan. She wants to grow old with him, but she never wants to get married again,” says the spy. The reason? Two words: Jesse James. Sandra was shattered when news broke that her ex-husband had cheated on her with a slew of women. “The heartbreak and humiliation she felt with Jesse left her so scarred, and that’s why she’ll never marry again,” says the source. “Bryan’s actually fine with that – he understands. She and Bryan already consider each other husband and wife anyway.”

Welcoming a baby would bond them even more – even though, like Louis and Laila, six, a new arrival might prefer Dad.

“For the kids, he’s sort of Number One and I’m Number Two,” Sandra admits of Bryan. “But I get it because he’s more fun and has better treats.”

The actress brings a lot to the table, too. Among her strengths: being prepared. “Sandra’s already dreamed up her perfect nursery,” says the source. “She’s been ordering furniture, like a rocking chair, which would be ideal for a baby’s room. Everyone is overjoyed for her.” ■
