The h f former TOWIE star spills on her dreams of pop stardom – and why she wants to be BFFS with Geri Horner!

NW - - Reality Weekly -

She’s currently working on her moves, training two hours a day for the UK version of Dancing On Ice – but in the meantime, Gemma Collins has joined the celebfilled Christmas edition of Britain’s All Together Now to belt out a tune! So what’s left for the reality star to do but find herself a girl group?

With the Spice Girls reuniting for their UK tour in 2019 – without Posh, Ph and d with i hs Scary Spice S i injured – Gemma, 37, has found a golden opportunity. Yep, she’s determined to join the ’90s hit makers! Here, the TOWIE babe reveals how she’d make the perfect Spicy addition after performing for judge Geri Horner – aka Ginger Spice – on the All Together Now special...

Why did you want to take part in the special?

I wanted to meet Geri – and I love singing. From the minute I wake up, I burst into song. I sing making tea. I sing making toast. I walk into work and I’m singing. Everyone’s had enough of me, I’m sure! All of Essex has heard me singing out the car window.

How did you feel about facing All Together Now the panel?

Very V nervous, b but Ij I just wanted d to go out there and enjoy it. I wanted to give it everything I’ve got from my heart to match my soul. [It was] my moment – I was singing to a Spice Girl. If me and Geri become best friends, then maybe I could be the new Spice Girl!

Were you worried about none of the ‘100’ panel singing with you?

Very nervous. It’s such a daunting experience, but life is about facing your fears – and this fear was so much fun to embrace.

Who are your favourite singers?

I love Dolly Parton and obviously I love Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Madonna. All the divas! But to sing in front of Ginger Spice is a moment that will go down in history for me. She’s a real legend – a queen. I Ih thought, h ‘If Ginger Gi Spice stands up for me, I’m going to cry my eyes out from now until forevermore with happiness.’

You’re a huge fan of Geri?

No-one gets how much I love her. I even dressed up as her once at a fancy-dress party. It’s kind of crazy – I dress up as Geri, and then I get famous myself and people dress up as me!

Have you always dreamed of becoming a pop star?

Of course, every girl dreams of that! I’d sing with my hairbrush in hand... I’d sing to the point where people would tell me to be quiet. Obviously, a lot of people ask me what I want to do next – well, I’d love to be on the West End stage for one night only!

Gemma says: ‘You gotta get wwith my friends!’ ‘I’ve always been posh’
