Ex­pen­sive celeb trainer? It’s a “no thanks” from Cather­ine Zeta-jones, who has one su­per sim­ple se­cret for look­ing as in­cred­i­ble as she does at 49 – and it’s all about giv­ing ev­ery­thing a go.

From hula hoop­ing to tap danc­ing, the Welsh stun­ner says her love for stay­ing ac­tive is enough mo­ti­va­tion for her.

“I love ex­er­cise, even things like the el­lip­ti­cal ma­chine and stretch­ing,” Cather­ine says. “It’s a legacy of danc­ing all those years.”

Get­ting that body takes dis­ci­pline, though, with The Mask Of Zorro star work­ing out ev­ery day, whether it’s swim­ming, ten­nis or cy­cling.

“Cather­ine had a huge gym built into her Con­necti­cut man­sion with all the lat­est high-tech equip­ment,” a source ex­plains. “She tells her friends that an hour of sweat­ing it out gives her a glow for the rest of the day, bet­ter than any fa­cials or fillers could give her.”

FOOD FOR THOUGHT When it comes to her diet mantra, the mum-of-two has a few tried-and-tested ways to keep her fig­ure in check.

“Wa­ter, main­tain­ing my ph bal­ance, no al­co­hol and keep­ing my body free of any in­flam­ma­tion, in­side and out,” she says. That means cut­ting out pro­cessed foods and eat­ing plenty of an­tiox­i­dantrich fruits and ve­g­ies, in­clud­ing gar­lic, pep­pers and dark leafy greens, as well as herbs and spices like turmeric, oregano and ginger.

“She swears it makes her feel half her age,” says the in­sider.

SE­CRET WEAPON Sorry all you Diet Coke lovers, CZJ’S anti-age­ing motto is all about skip­ping the fizzy drinks and load­ing up on good old H20 in­stead. “The real hy­dra­tion comes from within,” she ex­plains. “You can never drink too much wa­ter. No diet so­das!”
