Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes were the picture of relationship bliss on a recent family trip to Disneyland – and they’re planning to have a third child to make sure it stays that way! Yes, es, any a y Hollywood o y romance is hard work, and the pair ha have been the focus of their the fair share of breakbreak-up rumours. But wit with the couple happ happiest at home with their da daughters Esmerelda, four and A Amada, two, it seems they could be looking to add another family member to keep the peace between them!

“Eva’s radiant when she’s with her family, and she’s come out of her shell a lot,” explains an insider close to the couple. “She’s been yearning for one more [baby], and it’s even better that Ryan is on board. He’s happy with two, but knows if he didn’t give in she’d be sulking, so he said okay – and he’s glad he did. He’s pretty easygoing.”

Eva, 45, knows that time is running out to expand their family, so she has her heart set on going for it while they can. And she’s no fool – her greatest joy is spending time with her kids, so another can only add to her happiness with First Man star Ryan, 38.

“Eva figures this is her last chance to have another child, so she doesn’t want to let the opportunity pass her by,” reveals the source. “When she was younger, she didn’t want to have kids. But Esmeralda and Amada have totally changed her life and given it a whole new purpose.

“They’re definitely trying and hoping for a son this time,” continues the spy. “It would be a dream come true if they had a little boy, though they know all that matters is that the baby is healthy. Their kids are the e glue that keeps them together, ether, [so] they’re very excited and they feel closer than ever. The spark is back, too.”

It’s been almost three years ears since little Amada was born orn in April 2016, so it’s no wonder nder Eva is feeling broody again!

“Esmeralda and Amada are growing up so fast,” says the insider. “It’s been a couple of years since there was a baby in the house, and Eva misses all those baby smells, even the early morning feedings. She has taken a step back from her acting career to allow Ryan to pursue his while she takes care of the kids, and that’s a dynamic that really works for them. Of course, she still does her fashion and beauty lines. but it’s being a mum that she loves most of all.”

Eva has talked in the past about how becoming a parent has changed her outlook.

“I’m somebody’s mother and I need to act accordingly,” she mused. “There’s an intense amount of pressure that I feel, but it’s good pressure... [Yet] nobody warns you about the guilt that you feel when you do work. That guilt that is just kind of always there.”

That was evident when Eva and her family visited

Disneyland, “the happiest place on Earth”, accompanied by her mum Eva Perez Suarez. The actress celebrated her birthday at the same time – however, both she and Ryan realise there’s no point in forcing things when it comes to another child.

“They’re just leaving it up to fate,” shares the source. “They’re saying that if it happens, it happens. But Eva is certain that she wants three kids, and she has her heart set on making it a reality. If it doesn’t work out for them naturally, they wouldn’t rule out trying other routes, like surrogacy or adoption.”

As one of Tinseltown’s A-list couples take these baby steps, it sounds like we’ll see another Gosling soon! “Even though he’s one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, Ryan’s happiest at home with his three girls, and he’s open to doing it all over again with a new baby,” states the spy. “Clearly, Eva is over the moon and they’re in a good place right now.

“Eva and Ryan are great parents and they have a really happy little family,” adds the insider. “They are spending a lot of time together now that he has some time off in between projects, and they’ve never been happier.” n
