RAT ROD

Hi Todd, Just read the article ‘Just a Gimmick’ about the rat rod scene. I guess I’d start with saying everyone has the right to comment on anything they want. No law against that. There will always be lovers and haters of whatever we do. I don’t think that should be a deterrent for people to stop creating something that they are proud of and brings a bit of joy to their day. Nothin’ wrong with that is there? And if something you’ve created puts a smile on someone else’s face, well, that’s even better in my opinion. I sat my old rat truck at the Karapiro Stragglers show a while ago and watched queues of people walk right past rows of Mustangs, Camaros, ‘32s, etc., just to take a photo of my old truck and walk away with a smile on their face. Very rewarding. So I say good on people for having a say, whether it be good or bad, let’s just keep creating and having fun. Cheers,
