REPCO BEACH HOP 19 VEHICLE ENTRY

Vehicle entry for Repco Beach Hop 19 opened on the beachhop.co.nz website about a month ago, at 7am on 1 October. As always, it drew a massive response, with a staggering 450 cars entered in the first 15 minutes and 700 by 10am. With entry limited to 1000 vehicles made before 1972, the Beach Hop team may also accept entries for US-made vehicles up to 1985, on application. And not just that, but thanks to the support of their wonderful sponsors, they have also purchased this 1967 Ford Galaxie as the major prize and promotional vehicle for Repco Beach Hop 19. It was imported from the US to New Zealand last November and registered with a WOF. The two-door coupe runs a 390ci V8 engine with automatic transmission, but will naturally be given a Beach Hop makeover to showcase the event’s sponsors’ products, and will definitely be a prize worth winning!
