MEREMERE MELTDOWN

It’s the newest burnout competition to hit the calendar, but don’t think it will anything less than professional. Meremere Meltdown is the brainchild of a few old heads from the scene, and we can confirm that its name is pretty self-explanatory — it’s a burnout competition, with show and shine, set to be held at the Meremere Dragway burnout pad on 25 November.

Competition entry is limited to only 50 burnout cars, and there will be $5K in cash and prizes up for grabs on the day. Gates will be open at 8am, and burnouts will start at 10am sharp. Entry is $80 for burnout competitors, $20 per spectator, and $10 for show and shine vehicle entry.
