FROM THE PRESIDENT’S DESK:

With the wide and varied power, types, shapes, and sizes of cars within CMC, it was decided at the last AGM to split the Group1 cars into two groups, Group1a and Group1b, based on times. The same technical rules apply to both groups, however; the deciding factor for which group a car and driver will be in is the time it takes them to complete a lap. The quicker they are the more likely they are to be placed in Group1a, while the still quick but slightly slower cars will perhaps find themselves in Group1b. Both groups will still run the red screen banner.

The rules defining what Group2 cars are allowed to have or not have remain the same, and these cars will continue to run the blue screen banner. Time will tell how it goes.
