‘WE CAN’T WAIT!’
A BUB FOR MARGOT AUSTRALIA’S GOLDEN GIRL IS PREPPING FOR A FAMILY
Actress Margot Robbie and husband Tom Ackerley put on a loved-up display while playing a round of golf on November 13. The usually camera-shy pair packed on the PDA as they made their way around LA’S Loz Feliz Golf Course with friends.
At one point, Tom, 28, pulled his wife in for an intimate embrace, resting his chin on her shoulder and his hands on her belly. And the actress’ supporters noticed the protective gesture. ‘Gorgeous couple,’ one fan commented, while another added, ‘Down-to-earth couple, that’s so nice to see… Baby?’
Margot’s currently playing a heavily pregnant Sharon Tate in her new flick Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and according to an insider, ‘She’s been overheard joking that she won’t need to wear a prosthetic bump.’ And with their second wedding anniversary fast approaching, and a cleared filming schedule for the months ahead, the news hardly comes as a shock. The 28-year-old Oscar nominee has openly admitted she wants ‘tons of children’ in the past. ‘Well, maybe not too many,’ she clarifies. ‘I grew up in a family of four [kids], so that sounds like a good number.’ Even Margot’s dad Doug couldn’t help but rave about his daughter’s way with kids earlier this year. ‘Margot would be an amazing mum,’ he gushed. Despite only recently picking up a place in Los Angeles – a $3.5 million bungalow in Hancock Park – Margot says she’d definitely do a Chris Hemsworth when she has children. In a joint interview with her daughter on The Project, Margot’s mother Sarie lamented, ‘Margot will have children one day and they’ll be who knows where.’ But Margot quickly reassured her Queenslandbased mum, ‘They’ll be here… The kids will be in Australia.’ And since Margot and Tom remained tight-lipped about their engagement and wedding, we aren’t expecting the secretive pair to share their happy news anytime soon. ‘They’re both very excited but they’re also fiercely private, so they’ll make the announcement once they feel ready,’ a source insists.
