MOVE: US Bali HOW IT STARTED: After a nomadic childhood saw her move around Florida every few years, study in Morocco and live in an ashram, Sabrina decided to bite the bullet at the age of 22 and fly to Bali. THE LIGHT BULB MOMENT: ‘I was expected to go get a “normal job” or continue my education and I wasn’t ready to commit either way,’ explains Sabrina. ‘I knew if I decided to go off and travel, I’d find the path that was right for me.’ HOW I MADE IT WORK: Despite booking a one-way ticket, and with just $1100 in the bank, Sabrina focused entirely on her online coaching business. Within her first year, she was turning over $100,000 every month. WHAT I’VE LEARNT: ‘I was willing to do whatever it takes and bet on myself,’ says Sabrina. ‘That bet paid off. A year after moving, I was featured in Forbes and had built a million dollar business.’ Now, with her client base in the thousands, Sabrina structures her business so she can ‘work just a few hours a day and still prioritise my relationship and seeing the world’. MY ADVICE: ‘Take the leap. If it doesn’t work out you can always move back home, but there is no remedy in life for what if.’
