Takes on Goodwood Revival

-

This year’s Goodwood Revival sees the formula for the prestigious Barry Sheene Trophy revert to the earlier models – Group 1 for Up to December 1953 GP racing bikes, and Group 2 for up to December 1954 converted road bikes. The Irving Vincent team in Melbourne has announced it will mount an assault on Group 2, using a Vincent Rapide recently purchased by the Horner brothers from long-time Vincent Owners Club member Bob Williams. This machine has covered many thousands on miles in Bob’s hands, including a trip to the Isle of Man TT. The Rapide will be prepared in the Horner’s magnificent new factory at Hallam, and ridden in the two-rider, two-leg event by Beau Beaton and Craig McMartin.
