Mystery motor

KARL LEMBERG needs help... “I need some help as hours upon hours of interweb searching has produced nothing. I finally procured this odd little two stroke engine from a mate who knew nothing of its origin. I have stripped it down and it measures 198cc. There are no external markings on the casings other than machining numbers. The gear selection mechanism is nothing like I’ve seen before. There are two fingers on the gear selector that push and pull a shaft with a gear (this is the selector dog) machined on it. The shaft is keyed into the output sprocket and has the output gears running on it. These gears have a corresponding gear machined internally to match that on the shaft. It is a four speed and has a left side kick starter and a right side gear shift. I was amazed at the condition of everything, the gears have no sign of wear and the bore is still cross hatched.
