Show time in Mackay

-

The British Motorcycle Owners Association of Mackay is staging their 31st All Bike Show on the 19th and 20th of July at The Old Paxton’s Building on River Street. This year the club is going to push the theme of restoring motorcycles calling the show “Getting it together”. The committee decided as part of the Show to try and help those enthusiasts who are keen on restoring a bike, by displaying a before and after example. Thanks to several members that have completed restoration on their bikes, and members that have exactly the same bikes unrestored or in basket case condition, we will be able to go ahead with this concept. The exhibit is to be manned by experienced members of the Club, who will hopefully be able to answer the questions of the interested public to help get them started in a passion that can not only drive you crazy but also to meet some friendly like minded enthusiasts. Plus there will be a whole lot of motorcycles on show chasing the different trophies that are awarded in 15 separate categories.
