Electric suspension for Yamaha FJR1300E

Old Bike Australasia - - BUZZ BOX -

Yamaha’s big-selling tourer, the FJR1300, is now available with on-board electronically adjustable suspension to suit both the load carrying requirements and road surface conditions. A handlebar mounted switch allows the rider to toggle between four load settings, with a further choice of soft, standard or hard damping for each setting. As the system is linked to both the front and rear suspension systems, any alteration is made with the damping and preload on both front and rear systems to finely balance the motorcycle. The new model also has upside-down front forks with independent damper mechanisms, splitting the compression and damping adjustments between the two fork legs.
