I noticed in your Broadford report, mention and a photo of the ‘ex Cal Rayborn’ Suzuki TR500. I know this bike well as 40 years ago (1973 actually), I raced it three times and did countless ‘development’ laps at Levin Raceway (an hour north of Wellington – now closed) under the watchful eye of owner and tuner extraordinaire – Dick Lawton.
