For the recent Barry Sheene Memorial meeting at Eastern Creek, two Japanese riders, Yuji Terada and ‘Tommy’ Adachi brought out a very tasty pair of racers. These bikes were left with Steve Leembruggen at Old Gold Motorcycles in Londonderry and are now for sale. Tommy’s Z1-based machine has a 1230cc engine that puts out 135hp at the rear wheel and recorded 238 km/h on the main straight. Asking price is $25,000.
