A milestone work when it was first published many years back, this book is a mainly pictorial collection of the Australian motorcycling scene from 1899 to 1980. It was edited by Malcolm Grant and Harold H. Paynting with contributions from some distinguished members of the local scene, many no longer with us. Just 5,000 copies of the high quality hard cover work were produced and all proceeds have gone to the James Flood Charity Trust which benefits a number of charitable organisations. The remaining stock, of which there is very little, is now held by the Lions Club of Diggers Rest, Victoria, who have them available for $80.00 plus $16.65 postage within Australia.

It’s a big, heavy book that comes in a slipcase and is an invaluable addition to the library of anyone with even a passing interest in our motorcycling heritage.
