Seeking Jack Muston
I am trying to trace the activities of my father, Jack (John) Muston, a motor cyclist competitor. He was born in 1903 and lived in Mosman, Sydney. On Monday 3 April 1922 the Sydney Morning Herald reported on a 75 mile Reliability Trial promoted by the Northern Suburbs Motor Cycle Club. Jack Muston
was riding a 3.5 h.p. Zenith Gradua and came second. I don’t remember the Zenith but I remember riding pillion on his Harley Davidson. If anyone has any knowledge or stories or photographs about Jack Muston and the motor bikes and races of the 1920s and 19230s I’d be very keen to hear from them by email at morgangj@tpg.com.au or phone (02) 9388 7674 after 7pm.
