Scout springs Sturgis surprise

In a major coup, Indian pulled the wraps off its brand new Scout at the recent Sturgis Rally in USA. The new model, reviving one of Indian’s most famous model names, is a completely new design and shares virtually no components with the bigger models in the 2015 Indian line up. The Scout is powered by a new 1133cc 100hp V-twin engine mated to a 6-speed transmission with closed-loop fuel injection and drive-by-wire throttle actuation. Indian has already announced the price of $17,995 ride-way in Australia, with deliveries starting in November 2014. We’ll have a full test of the new Scout in issue 48.
