Solid sales at Shannons

-

An original, unrestored 1923 twin-cam HarleyDavidson Board Track racer exceeded all expectations at the Shannons Sydney Winter Auction by selling for almost double its expected price, finally going under the hammer to a phone bidder from USA for $118,000. Shannons Stuart Roberts was delighted with the results. “Our auction room was full, with around 450 people, and we had over 60 on-line bidders. So far this year we have sold over 90 classic motorcycles, and we are looking to secure further collections for auction on the back of our recent successes.” The final Sydney auction for the year will be held on November 17th, while Melbourne’s last for 2014 will take place on December 8th.
