Laverdas on the loose

From DAVID BERTHOLD (jotamarine@iinet.net.au) comes this missive. “Here are some photos of a recent gathering of nine Laverdas on a run around the hills out of Perth. We had four 3CLs, two Jotas, and three 750 SF1s, plus a lone Moto Guzzi Le Mans MkII. ‘The Winter Warmer Run’ started in a fresh but fine 3ºC and covered 400km at a brisk pace. As usual, the assembled Laverdas performed reliably. We are an informal group of aficionados staying in touch via email. Unfortunately, re-starting Club Laverda was a process now beset with red tape and onerous insurance costs, so bugger ‘em. Currently we are organising a three to four-day run into the ‘Deep South’ from September 19-22. Accommodation and activites are being organised now. We will have an SFC 750 (maybe two), an SFC 1000, and a red-hot Motodd 1200 attending, along with the usual suspects.
