Snowy Ride helps combat cancer
Wintery conditions did not deter 2,777 motorcyclists, pillion passengers and supporters taking part in the 14th annual Honda Snowy Ride, and raise more than $250,000 towards finding cures for childhood cancer. “We have such a loyal group of motorcyclists who support the Snowy Ride year after year on motorcycles of all shapes, sizes and colours. But it was also heart-warming to see many new faces discovering what a fantastic event this is and helping us in our mission to find a cure for childhood cancer,” said Sue Walter, Director of the Steven Walter Children’s Cancer Foundation. To date SWCCF has raised more than $5 million for its cause, with $4 million of that directly attributed to the Snowy Ride.
