Costello returns

For Sheene opener

Maria Costello, who has enjoyed a stellar season in 2014, returns to Sydney in March 2015 for the QBE Barry Sheene Festival of Speed, which will be round one of the Trans Tasman Challenge. As well as competing Down Under in both rounds last year, Costello raced at the Isle of Man Classic TT, where she finished 5th in the Bennetts 500cc Classic on a Paton. Headlining the 2015 BSFoS at Sydney Motor Sport Park will be three times world champion Freddie Spencer, whose appearance marks 30 years since he achieved the first and only 250cc/500cc double title win. Entry forms are now out for the event, which is promoted by the PCRC of NSW and features classes for solos and sidecars from Period 2 (catering for Pre 1950 bikes) up to Period 6.
