Back on Nor­ton for TT

Two-times Isle of Man TT win­ner Cameron Don­ald will be back on the fac­tory Nor­ton SG3 for the 2015 TT. As in 2014, when the Nor­ton failed to fin­ish both the Su­per­bike and Se­nior TT races, the Nor­ton team will be man­aged by for­mer win­ner Mick Grant. Nor­ton Mo­tor­cy­cles CEO Stu­art Gar­ner praised Don­ald’s 2014 per­for­mance, which Don­ald de­scribed as ‘solid but frus­trat­ing’ and said the SG3 should ben­e­fit from a year’s devel­op­ment. “It’s a huge ask to build a bike from scratch to com­pete against the world’s best road rac­ers, the world’s best bikes, at the world’s tough­est race.” Un­like 2014, Don­ald has also been per­mit­ted to race in other classes on makes other than Nor­ton.
