This interesting clipping was sent to us some time ago and only recently surfaced. It is from the Sydney Morning Herald, Saturday November 6th, 1971, back in the days when Saturday’s herald was the place to buy used motorcycles. It certainly makes interesting reading, showing the British industry slipping into oblivion as the Japanese invasion gathers strength. What we want to know is – who bought the two new Matchless motorcycles in 1970, considering the factory went out of business some years before?
