All-Indian gathering set again for 2016

-

The first All-Indian Rally was held at Easter 1992 at the Maleny Showgrounds in Queensland. It was a great success with around 40 old Indian motorcycles arriving from near and far. The idea sprang from a discussion amongst members of the Historical Motorcycle Club of Queensland, including Graham Hodgson and Marc Gunderson who gained approval for the rally to be held under the banner of the HMCCQ. At the first rally, all the bikes were parked in a big shed for all to admire. On Saturday morning, a ride took place out on the winding roads around the Maleny and Sunshine Coast hinterland area, and the following day, a number of events and a static display of the bikes took place at the oval. A further ide took place on Sunday afternoon to complete was a very successful inaugural All-Indian Rally. For 2016, the All-Indian Rally celebrates its 25th anniversary, again at Maleny Showgrounds. Then event kicks off with a casual ride on Good Friday afternoon followed by a free ‘meet & greet’ barbeque. On Saturday there will be a long and short ride, with field events and a display on Sunday morning followed by a ride to the lunch stop. The presentation dinner and auctionb will be held on Sunday night. All riders get a free t-shirt and meals are just $10 per head.
