Shinko and Hei­de­nau tyres, im­ported by Bruce Collins En­ter­prises, are now avail­able to suit pop­u­lar ad­ven­ture bikes like the BMW R1200GS and Du­cati Mul­tistrada. Shinko of­fer two styles, the E705 Ad­ven­ture Block (left) and the E804/ 805 Big Block. The for­mer are H rated (210 km/h) and are de­signed for 75% road/ 25% off road rid­ing, with ex­cel­lent wet weather ad­he­sion. Fronts come in a range of sizes for 17, 19 and 21 inch rims, with the rears avail­able in 17 or 18 inch sizes. The E804/805 is a more ag­gres­sive pat­tern with a 40% road/ 60% off-road bias. Fronts are avail­able in 19 or 21 inch and rears in 17, 18 or 19 inch. The Hei­de­nau K76 right) is an Ad­ven­ture/Dual Sport tyre for on-road or light off-road use, with wide-spaced blocks and a com­pound to suit dry or wet weather rid­ing. The K76 is avail­able in 19 or 21 front and 17 inch rear in a va­ri­ety of sizes. The Hei­de­nau K60 and K60 Scout is a range that is more suited to off-road con­di­tions, in three front and five rear pat­terns and sizes.
