Like all books in this Enthusiast’s Restoration Manual series, it begins with a basic guide on how to go about an appraisal of the intended restoration motorcycle, and a guide to the process, which is naturally common to virtually all motorcycles. Then begins a step-by-step strip down and rebuild project using a GT750L as the guinea pig. This covers absolutely every component as well as processes like painting, plating and wiring, ending up with a sparkling as-new machine. However despite the sub title, I failed to find anything about the two smaller models, which are quite different to the 750.
