Auction to benefit cancer sufferers

A vast treasure trove of motorcycles, cars, vintage cameras, wristwatches and motoring memorabilia from the estate of the late Robert White is due to be auctioned by Bonhams in UK on 19th September 2016. The sale is expected to raise more than $4 million (Aus) with proceeds to fund advances in cancer diagnosis and treatment in White’s home county of Dorset. White was the fonder of one of the UK’s largest photographic retailers and a passionate collector of motorcycles. The collection includes a 125cc SOHC MV Agusta racer, a replica 350cc and 500cc MV-3, a replica 500cc Gilera-4, a 1929 Megola 640cc Touring Model, a 1974 Ducati 750SS and a 1951 Vincent 998cc Series C Black Shadow.
