The Shipping News

-

It looks like being a big summer season for touring in New Zealand, according to Dave Milligan of Get Routed – International Motorcycle shipping services. Dave says, “In a surprising turn of events bookings are coming in so fast for our next summer’s shipments to New Zealand that the December and January shipments are already full. There’s still some space available in the November and February shipments, but the current rate of receiving bookings suggests they will soon be full. I would attribute some of this success to various stories in OBA over the years”. “In further Get Routed good news bookings to Europe in 2017 have seen a big improvement on 2016 shipment bookings. Of course the 2016 smaller shipments were mostly due to the drop in the value of the Aussie dollar (against the GB Pound and Euro) and the Government’s various announcements about the problems of travel in Europe. Those fears have been proven to be unfounded by Get Routed clients who shipped bikes in the 2016 UK and Barcelona shipments. As a result it has been decided to continue with another Barcelona shipment in 2017 and at this stage the shipment is over half full.” “Our annual UK shipment to Felixstowe will go ahead again in 2017 and confirmed bookings indicate there will be containers out of Sydney, Melbourne and possibly Brisbane. There are still 7 places available for our 2017 Isle of Man TT trip.” All enquiries to dave@getrouted.com.au or phone 03 5625 9080.
