Tri­umph’s new Tiger Sport

Tri­umph has re­leased a new ver­sion of its pop­u­lar 1050cc Tiger Sport triple, with a claimed 104 changes over the model it re­places. Th­ese in­clude a freer flow­ing ex­haust si­lencer, a new torque as­sisted clutch, three new rid­ing modes (road, rain and sport), ABS and switch­able multi-level trac­tion con­trol, and cruise con­trol as stan­dard. There is also a new in­stru­ment panel with two trip com­put­ers, an ad­justable tinted screen, and hand guards as stan­dard. The Tiger Sport weighs in at 218kg and pro­duces 93kW at 9,475 rpm, with 106Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. RRP is $17,150 plus ORC.
