Waste not

I find something of note in every issue of OBA. I refer to page 53 OBA 60 (Wambanumba story). The Coventry Climax war-surplus generator set shown, had the throttle control connection done by an arm fixed on each end by a finely-made ball and socket, with adjusting threads. No “hooked wire in a hole” stuff here. I saved a couple from a friend’s “conversion” job way back then, and one now controls a replacement on my sink tap. Banzai! Ron Shoemark Lower Belford, NSW
