Author Henshaw has been a Bullet owner and has written over 30 books – he doesn’t own a car and rides all year round! A handy little tome. the works Suzuki and Yamaha teams it seemed Mike would slip back home to Christchurch and spent more time with his other love, windsurfing, but he was lured back to the fold to guide Kenny Roberts’ ambitious Modenas project which saw a complete GP racer created in just six months. Author Kerry Swanson has done an excellent job in producing a very readable book, because a subject that is essentially highly technical can become a bridge too far for the average reader. Swanson has softened this by providing break-outs within the book to explain the technical processes in layman’s terms, which will be welcomed by those of us less cognisant in this scientific area. Kerry told me that he was genuinely sad when the book was complete, because he would miss the sessions, sometimes several times per week, when he would visit Mike at home and listen to him relate the myriad tales that now fill this excellent book.
