H2 headlines Shannons auction results

-

A perfectly restored H2 Kawasaki was expected to hit big bucks at Shannon’s Winter 2017 Auction in Sydney on August 28, but the final hammer blow of $33,500 stunned even seasoned buyers. There were several interested parties bidding for the H2, including one from overseas,” said Shannons Auction Sales Advisor Stuart Roberts. “It was an excellent result and I think both the vendor and buyer were well pleased.” Owner Steve Ashkenazi, a noted collector and restorer who has had several bikes featured in OBA, also did not leave the auction empty handed. “I bought a 1985 Yamaha RZ350 that I just couldn’t resist”, said Steve. “I have always loved these and I raced one back in the day, and this was a near perfect example, completely unmolested.” Smiles all round!
