WA riders reunion

The fourth reunion of West Australian racing riders took place on 14th January, 2018 at the home of Mr John McDermott in Bunbury, WA. The idea began in 2014 and the 2017 gathering drew 60 starters, with riders representing the sport from immediate post-war days to comparatively modern eras. Organised by former scrambles champion Don Collins, attendees spent an afternoon reminiscing about the days of racing at venues such as Mooliabeenie, Caversham, the Harley Scrambles and the many street circuits used in WA such as Collie, Bunbury, Albany, Jerramungup, Kellerberrin and others.
