Schuberth’s flip-front
German company Schuberth has been in the helmet business for 90 years, producing not just motorcycle helmets, but protective headgear for firefighters and trades workers to Formula 1 drivers. Schuberth controls the entire helmet manufacturing process from design, research and development through production at their state-of-the-art facility in the Alpine town of Magdeburg, Germany. The helmets are still finished by hand and are guaranteed for 5 years. The Schuberth C4 redefines the flip-up helmet both for touring and sports riders. Features include optimum bluetooth® and radio reception, integrated antenna, pre-installed speakers and microphone, plug & play for new communication system SC1. Construction material is fiberglass, with an extra-large, anti-fog, wide field lens for a wide field of vision. A drop-down sun visor is integrated into the design, with an all-up weight of just 1.66kg. Sizes are XS-XXXL. The C4 has a RRP of $999 for solid colours and $1100 for graphics.
Schuberth helmets are now available for the first time in Australia from Procycles Stores at Hornsby and St Peters, NSW.
