The wheelmen of Warragul

In relation to the three photos on page 77 of OBA 71, I am enclosing a photo (below) taken at a grass track meeting at Warragul Showgrounds. As you can see the grandstand and starter’s box are very similar to those shown. The last meeting here was in the early 1960s. There was a photo taken at this meeting which appeared on the front page of the local paper, The Warragul Gazette. It showed the start line with John Dewhurst, Alan Paynter, Peter Castles and one other rider. Dave Barry Benalla Vic.
