Changes at
The NZ Show
The ever-popular New Zealand Motorcycle Show will take place on November 24th and 25th with a new organiser following the retirement of Colin McDonald, who ran the past three shows. Graham Viall, from the Rotary Club of Papakura, says, “To replace Colin we entered an in-depth process to locate someone with the skill set we need and feel we now have an excellent person in Azhar Bhamji, who has a formidable track record in event organisation. He brings a strong link to the youth market which will be a great addition to our existing show. Accordingly there will be a greater emphasis this year on the Motocross scene, so watch out for some developments in this area. We believe this show will be bigger than the past shows so space is likely to be at a premium. As always the profits of the show will be channeled back to our Rotary Club beneficiaries, the main ones again are the National Burn unit and Youth Road Safety Education and accident rehabilitation.” For more details see www.nzmotorcycleshow.co.nz
