KYT Convair

Formed in 1980, the PT Tara Group is today one of the largest helmet manufacturers in the world, based in Indonesia. As well as producing its own KYT brand, the company assembles helmets for several other major brands including Suomy. KYT’s Research and Development and Design facility is based in Italy and covers everything from entry-level to professional racing helmets. The KYT Convair is a flip-face design with the outer shell in Advance Thermoplastic resin. The visor is in Polycarbonate resin with UV380 filter antiscratch shield, with a drop-down solar tinted shield incorporated in the shell. The visor can be used with a Pinlock anti-fog shield.
